CYG: Cornerstone Youth Group
The teenage years are a time of exploration and discovery. In CYG (Cornerstone Youth Group), we hope to help our teens build personal connections that will last a lifetime and guide them on their own journeys of faith and identity.
Friendship, trust, and community are at the heart of CYG, without which it is difficult to dive into the deeper questions like "Who is God?", "What is faith?", and "What does God expect from me, as a Christian?"
Throughout the year, CYG gives teens the opportunity to participate in service projects, attend teen outreach events, and attend summer camps.
I’m Chase McClure. I grew up a native of Springdale, Arkansas, and now live in Fayetteville. I’m honored to call Cornerstone the church community where I get to serve as the youth and worship minister. These teenagers and this congregation are truly blessing to me and I pray God will use me to bless them.
In 2014, God gifted me with a heart for youth ministry and I never looked back! I love working with teens. It is may absolute favorite thing, and at the moment I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
I’ve had the privilege of completing two youth internships at Robinson Ave. Church of Christ in Springdale under Andrew Collins.
I love being out in nature, playing disc golf, ultimate frisbee, writing music, performing shows, attempting to find the greatest chicken wings in any given city, my church, my friends, my family, and my dog, Clark.
